Title:         Preference-based query for MovieFinder(an Intelligent
                   Interactive agent)

Abstract:

I describe on-going work toward the development of a decision-theoretic 
agent to help users to choose movies from a database based on their 
preferences. This work is to design the preference-based query system. 
The purpose is not only to make a good start for the long-term project, 
but also to simulate how the long-term project is going to be.  Assuming 
that the user's preference is determined, we help users to find movies 
based on a set of hard-constraints and the user's preference profile.
